Generally, it can be divided into four categories, namely emergent aquatic plants, floating aquatic plants, submerged aquatic plants and floating aquatic plants.
First of all, aquatic plants:
The roots of these aquatic plants are rooted in the sand at the bottom. Some stems grow in the water, while others grow out of the water. Generally, it grows at the water side of freshwater lakes and rivers, and the water level is about1.5m. Because it is not easy to transfer water, this kind of aquatic plants is not often planted in aquatic plants tanks.
Second, floating leaf aquatic plants:
Among the aquatic plants, the floating-leaf aquatic plants are lotus and water lily, so this kind of aquatic plants is more beautiful. This kind of water grass is suitable for planting in water with water level of 1-2 meters. Usually, its roots and stems grow in water, while its leaves float on the water.
Three, submerged aquatic plants:
The roots, stems and leaves of this aquatic plant are all immersed in water to grow. Submerged plants are typical aquatic plants, which are often used in aquatic plant ponds. Leaves absorb light from water and carry out photosynthesis.
Four, floating aquatic plants:
Floating aquatic plants, as the name implies, are aquatic plants floating on the water as a whole. The roots of this aquatic plant are not rooted in the sand at the bottom, but mainly absorb the nutrients contained in the water. Such as duckweed and water hyacinth.
