Mustard has collected wild and artificial cultivation of two ways of propagation. Artificial cultivation has open field cultivation and protected cultivation. Land preparation
Mustard seeds are small, so the land should be leveled, fine, picking off weeds and garbage, but also to do a deep ditch and high beds, in order to drainage and irrigation. The width of the bed is generally 2.5m (even ditch).
Sowing
Sowing period: spring cultivation in late February; summer cultivation in early July to late August; fall cultivation in early September to early October, generally fall cultivation.
Sowing amount: per 667 square meters, 1.5 to 2 kg for spring sowing, 3 to 4 kg for summer sowing, and 2 to 3 kg for fall sowing.
Sowing method: mustard can be scattered, but strive for uniformity, after sowing with the foot gently tread the bed once, so that the seeds and soil in close contact, in order to facilitate seed absorption, early emergence. (3) timely weeding. Mustard plants are short, usually sowing, weeds and mustard mixed together weeding is more difficult, labor, should be combined with the harvest to pull weeds.
Three, disease and insect control
Moldy mildew and aphids are the main pests and diseases of mustard, to use integrated control. One is to clear the ditch moisture, to prevent the field from waterlogging, pull weeds in time, so that the plants are ventilated; the second is to use 75% Chlorothalonil 600 times liquid or 72% Klue 600 to 800 times liquid, spraying control of mildew. Aphid control can be used pyrethrin or pyrethroid pesticides.
