1, Nintendo switch came to the main interface of NS after the short film, and its style was as simple as ever. When it was turned on for the first time, the main interface would guide players to choose one of nine languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian and Japanese).
2. Choose the player's region from America, Europe, Australia/New Zealand and Japan. The selection can be operated through the touch screen or the joystick of the controller.
3. After reading the usage agreement, you can choose WiFi signal for network connection.
Set the time zone of the host. Then it will enter the boot mode, teach the player how to play in different modes, and then ask the player if he chooses to plug the NS console into the cradle immediately for use on the TV.
4. If the player's Joy-Con controller has been plugged into the host, the system will prompt the player to disassemble it first. The player only needs to press the black button at the top of the back of Joy-Con to pull it out. Next, the player will be prompted to move the cursor to the next step with the Joy-Con controller on the left. Use the Joy-Con controller on the right to select "A" and then press the A key to select "OK". At this point, the first boot setting has come to an end. If the player wants to continue to use the portable mode for setting, he can put the Joy-Con controller back on the host again.
5. Players also need to set their own ID and avatar, and select "Next" to enter the next step. In addition to classic characters such as Mario and Link, they can also choose Mii avatar. Press More options to select the background color.
6. Players' IDs can support 10 English at most. If you want to create more user IDs after setting, you can press the "Add Another User" option and repeat the previous steps to add them.
7. If the NS host is for children at home, you can also set the parental guidance function through "Configure Parental Controls". Otherwise, you can skip it directly. If users want to control on mobile terminals such as smart phones, they can choose "Set on Smart Device". This function requires installing the APP "Nintendo switch Parental Controls" through the QR code on the scanning interface.
If users want to set it on the NS host, they need to select "Set on Console" and then "Restriction Level". After selecting children's age, the system will prohibit running content that does not meet children's age according to their age. Through "Customs", you can also make more detailed settings. When you choose Next, you need to set a 4-to 8-digit password.
8. After all the settings are completed! Press the Home button of Joy-Con controller on the right to return to the main interface.
The top left corner of the main interface is the player's ID and avatar. After entering, you can set the player's information, and you can also connect to the Nintendo cloud account in this place. Whether the parental guidance function is turned on or not will be displayed in the upper middle of the screen, and it will be displayed in orange after it is turned on. In the upper right corner, there are information such as system time, WiFi and remaining power.
If the player has played a game recently, it will be displayed in the middle of the screen. If the game cassette has been inserted into the host, a blue cassette LOGO will appear in the upper left corner of the game pattern.
There are some basic function setting options at the bottom of the main interface, including "News", "Nintendo eShop", "Album", "Controllers", "System Settings" and "Sleep Mode". At the bottom of the main interface, the lower left corner shows which mode the player is currently using. On the far right is the function and description of the key.
After entering "News", there are news of NS host, as well as various teaching instructions.
In "Nintendo eShop", you can buy games and various virtual items. However, before the deadline, eShop of Hong Kong Service failed to log in.
Album (Game Screenshot Album) contains pictures saved by players when they take screenshots, and players can share these pictures to social platforms. According to the official plan, video recording and other functions will be added in the future.
"Controllers", as its name implies, is the specific setting of Joy-Con controller.
"System Settings" is used to manage the built-in storage space of the host and the storage contents of the microSD card, and also to transfer data from the host to the microSD card or Vice Versa. In addition to the default desktop theme with black characters on white background, there is also a theme with white characters on black background, which is convenient for players to play in some places with insufficient light (it won't hurt their eyes).
When connected to the cradle, the highest resolution can be the mainstream 1080P, and the RGB range and sound effects can also be adjusted here.
After "Sleep Mode" enters, the screen will go out immediately. To wake up the system, you need to click the Home button, and then press the Home button three times in succession to return to the main interface.
