Tephrosia seeds are the seeds of tephrosia. Cephalotaxus is also known as wild cedar, the red bean cedar family, is an evergreen tree, growing on mountain slopes, wild or cultivated. It blooms in April each year, and the seeds mature in October of the following year in the form of drupes. When the seeds are ripe, pick them, remove the fleshy outer skin, take out the seeds and dry them in the sun to be used as medicine.

Morphological features:

Evergreen tree, up to 25 meters high, 55cm in diameter at breast height, with gray-brown bark, open branches and glabrous branchlets. Leaves are arranged in pseudo-dichotomous rows, linear-lanceolate, 1.2-2.5 cm long, 2-3 mm wide, narrower the more to the upper part, the apex of the abrupt spines pointed, the base a few rounded, entire, hard, dark yellowish-green above, glossy, light green below, the midrib is conspicuous, and a concave yellowish-white stomatal band on each of its two sides.
