The harm of crab slave
For crab farmers, crab slaves are one of the common parasites that harm crabs. In China, crab slave disease is also called bedbug crab disease. Although crabs will not die immediately after being parasitized by crab slaves, the development speed of crabs will be damaged and they will no longer shed their skins. When it is seriously parasitic, crab meat is very little, and most of them are crab slaves, so they can't be eaten.
In China, 7- 10 is the peak of the disease, and salt water ponds with high salt content are more common, causing serious losses to local crab farmers.
However, in the years of dealing with crabs, crab farmers have also explored some ways to deal with crab slaves, that is, before breeding crabs, thoroughly clean the pond and kill the crab slave larvae in the pond with certain insecticidal drugs.
In addition, some crab farmers will raise a certain number of carp in crab ponds, and carp will devour the larvae of crab slaves to control the number of crab slaves. Of course, if the crab pond has become ill, the crab farmers will immediately change the pond water and transfer the infected crabs to fresh water. Because crab slaves are not used to fresh water, they will die because of environmental discomfort. In addition, some crab farmers will treat crabs with certain drugs.
In fact, there is almost no crab slave disease in the crabs we eat at present, because crab slave will seriously affect the output of crabs, so crab farmers will test the water body, water temperature and crab seedlings before breeding and strictly control them.
In addition, once there is crab slave parasitism, crab buyers will avoid buying it, and conscientious crab farmers will not sell it, but treat it pollution-free.
In a word, generally in the market, we can't buy crabs with crab slaves, except in some informal markets.
