Who invented instant noodles?
Instant noodles were invented by Momofuku Ando from Japan.

At first, Momofuku Ando was trying to help poor people have easy access to ramen noodles, and racked his brains to find ways to make the noodles last for a long time, as well as ways to make some of the vegetables last for a long time without spoiling.

After numerous experiments, Momofuku Ando finally invented noodles that could be eaten with hot water only, and added some drained vegetables to the noodles. Momofuku Ando's instant noodles benefited people all over the world.

Ando Momofuku felt compassion for the many people he saw on the street waiting in line for a bowl of hot ramen.

When he returned home, he wondered if he could make a food that people would not have to wait in line to buy, and then after a few simple steps, they would be able to eat a bowl of steaming hot noodles, and Momofuku began his experiments for this purpose.
