Hot things can be put directly into the refrigerator.
There will inevitably be leftovers from cooking at home, and everyone will naturally put them in the refrigerator. But when the meal is cooled and then put in the refrigerator, it is easy to lead to bacterial reproduction, because after the meal is fried, when the temperature begins to fall, the bacteria have begun to "in".
Research has found that when the temperature of the food drops to 60 ℃, bacteria start to grow; the temperature drops to 40 ℃ -30 ℃, bacteria will be very happy, exuberant reproduction; and down to 7 ℃, most of the bacteria to stop, into a dormant state. Only by cooling the food quickly to below 7℃ can we help inhibit bacterial reproduction and make the food safer, which requires us to put the food inside the refrigerator as soon as possible.
The World Health Organization WHO also recommends that food should not be stored at room temperature for more than two hours. Although putting hot food in the refrigerator will slightly increase the burden on the refrigerator and consume a little more electricity, it's all within the normal operating range of the refrigerator. Rather than letting bacteria grow and cause food to go bad, it's not a shame to spend that extra bit of electricity - after all, it's safety that counts.
The best way to prevent bacteria from growing in your food is to put it in the freezer as soon as you've finished cooking it. If you really want to let it cool for a while, put it in the fridge as soon as the temperature of the meal drops to a level where it's not too hot.
Note:
1, the best temperature for the refrigerator freezer is 0 to 4 degrees Celsius. If the temperature is higher than 5 degrees Celsius, it is easy to breed Listeria monocytogenes, which is harmful to food; below 0 degrees Celsius, the water in the food will freeze.
2, the refrigerator can not be put too full, can not space, the best to put three-quarters. If you have to fill the refrigerator, it is recommended to adjust the thermostat down 1 degree. Refrigerator space is not conducive to its refrigeration mechanism, it is recommended to put a few cans of water into it, or the temperature is adjusted up 1 degree.
3, if the freezer wall has condensation of water droplets, means that the temperature is too high. If there is ice on the inside wall of the back panel of the freezer, it means that the temperature is too low, probably because the refrigerator door is not closed, the heat enters, and the refrigerator must keep cooling.
