China Permanent Forest Reserve covers a total area of 3.54 million hectares. The protected wild animals include Sumatran rhinoceros, orangutan, proboscis monkey, Malay bear and clouded leopard. There are 32 ethnic groups in Sabah. The largest indigenous group is Kadashan-Dushun, followed by Bayao and Murut.
Sabah is rich in tourism resources and is a famous holiday resort overseas. Visitors can trudge into the virgin forest, explore caves, cross the river by raft and see the life of proboscis monkeys; Or go fishing in the deep blue sea, or snorkel to watch colorful marine life.
