Ingredients for frosted peanuts
250g peanuts, 40g sugar
10g ordinary starch
How to make frosted peanuts
Step 1
First fry the peanuts. I used half a bag of salt to fry them. The salt has been fried many times, so the salt is a bit dark, but it does not affect the taste of the peanuts. It is recommended to use medium heat. Stir-fry until the snapping stops, then turn off the heat for 3 minutes.
Step 2
Use a vegetable basket to drain out the sand. The peanuts will not be mushy at all.
Step 3
I was so busy that I forgot to take pictures. Add about 40 grams of water and bring to a simmer. Add sugar and stir constantly. When it becomes sticky and stringy, pour in the peanuts and stir. Then add starch and mix well
