First, seed sowing
If the seedlings of Toona sinensis want to have the same fertility, it is the most effective and commonly used method to sow and reproduce with seeds. The Ailanthus altissima cultivated by sowing method has obvious taproots and vigorous growth.
Before sowing seeds, it is advisable to soak seeds in water with temperature of 20℃ ~ 30℃ 12 hours. After soaking the seeds, take them out, rinse them with clear water and put them in a bag to accelerate germination. The temperature is maintained at about 25℃, and the seeds can be sown after germination. Sowing is usually carried out from April to May, and seedlings can be transplanted in autumn and winter. Pay attention to the occurrence of root rot when raising seedlings.
Second, the method of root and bud division
Ditching around the crown, cutting off the roots with a diameter of 1 cm to stimulate the growth of root buds. When cutting roots, we should pay attention to the principle of not damaging large roots. Cover the soil after root cutting, and add decomposed organic fertilizer in time to facilitate the growth of roots and plants. About 2 ~ 3 root sprouts can be produced every year.
Third, root cutting breeding
Take the root with a diameter of about 0.5 cm ~1cm, and cut it into cuttings with a length of10 ~15 cm, with the thicker end horizontally cut upward and the thinner end obliquely cut downward. Cutting can be diluted with 0.4% butyric acid solution 1000 times and then soaked for 30 minutes, or cut with 0. 1% BA powder. The treated cuttings are deeply inserted into the sand bed. In order to keep the temperature (25℃ ~ 30℃) and humidity (75% ~ 80% RH), it can be covered with transparent plastic cloth. Only one bud can be left in each ear after germination, and it can be transplanted when it grows to about 30 cm.
Fourth, cutting propagation of branches
Cutting propagation is generally carried out from April to June. Cut annual and semi-lignified branches into15cm, and cut them into sand beds. In order to increase the survival rate, cuttings can be diluted by 0.4% butyric acid solution 1000 times and then soaked for 30 minutes ~1hour, or cut after being contaminated with 0. 1% BA powder.
