Indications: spleen-stomach qi deficiency syndrome. Pale complexion, low voice, shortness of breath, lack of food, loose stool, pale tongue with white fur and weak pulse. (This prescription is commonly used for chronic gastritis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, etc. )
In the prescription, ginseng is sweet and warm, and supplementing qi is the king; Atractylodes macrocephala strengthens the spleen and dries the dampness, and ginseng is the minister of benefiting qi and strengthening the spleen; Poria cocos is assisted by infiltrating dampness and strengthening spleen; Roasted licorice is the best way to ease the pain. All four flavors are peaceful products, warm but not dry, nourishing but not severe, hence the name Sijunzi Decoction.
Fang Jie's syndrome is caused by qi deficiency of spleen and stomach and lack of transport and transformation. Spleen and stomach are the foundation of the day after tomorrow, the source of qi and blood biochemistry, spleen and stomach deficiency, lack of acceptance and health, then diet decreases; Wet turbidity is endogenous, so the stool is thin; Spleen governs muscles, spleen and stomach are deficient in qi, and the muscles of limbs are not affected, so the limbs are weak; Insufficient blood and biochemistry, insufficient blood is not proud of the face, but the face is pale; Spleen is the mother of the lung, spleen and stomach are deficient, and lung qi is exhausted first, so it is short of breath and low voice; Pale tongue with white fur and weak pulse are all signs of qi deficiency. As the "Medical Prescription Examination" said: "If the husband's face is pale, he will know that he is qi-deficient; If the speech is slight, you will know that it is qi-deficient; If the limbs are weak, you will know that it is qi-deficient; If the pulse is weak, you will know that it is qi deficiency. " Treatment should replenish the qi of the spleen and stomach in order to restore its function of transportation and acceptance. Ginseng is the king in the prescription, which is warm and beneficial, invigorating the spleen and nourishing the stomach. I use Atractylodes macrocephala, which is bitter and warm, to strengthen spleen and dry dampness, and strengthen the power of benefiting qi and helping transport; With the combination of sweet poria cocos, spleen-strengthening and dampness-permeating, and ling-shu, the function of spleen-strengthening and dampness-eliminating is beneficial. So that the licorice is roasted, the qi is supplemented, the middle energizer is neutralized, and various medicines are reconciled. The compatibility of the four drugs plays the role of benefiting qi and strengthening the spleen.
