Belief, Oasis in the Heart —— Reflections on A Bowl of Yangchun Noodles

The novel A Bowl of Yangchun Noodles by Su Duping, a famous Japanese writer, tells a touching story that mother and son gritted their teeth, supported each other in adversity, overcame difficulties and finally made it to success. The younger brother's sentence in the novel: "Don't give up, work hard, live well" even shouted out the firm belief that mother and son never give up in order to achieve their goals. Yes, all successful people don't do it overnight, most of them. Ostrovsky is blind, but he writes by hand, and Beethoven is deaf, but he can feel the melody of music by biting the keys with his teeth. If they don't have strong beliefs, how can there be How Steel was Tempered, and how can there be a Beethoven symphony? As long as one has a belief, one will be desperate and even sacrifice his life to achieve his ideal goal.
It is also because we have a firm belief in our hearts-"Don't give up, work hard". In the war against SARS at the beginning of this year, our "white warriors" were the loveliest people in the new era and the eternal angels in the hearts of the people. This is a war without smoke, just because they have the confidence to win over SARS, and they have a belief above all else, that is, the motherland and the people.
A firm belief is an oasis in our hearts.
It is precisely because we have the conviction of winning over SARS that we can win in this war without smoke. Now, our great motherland has been baptized by blood and fire, and the phoenix has spread its wings higher and higher. The firm belief of never giving up has made our motherland and our people move from victory to new victory step by step.
The story of "A Bowl of Yangchun Noodles" most powerfully explains the meaning of the word "faith", which will deeply inspire me to never give up. Faith is a boat drifting on the bitter sea and heading for the other side of success.
Everyone longs for success and strives for success, just like going to a distant holy land. The road is rugged and long, which requires us to have a firm belief of "never giving up". Balzac said well: "Unfortunately, it is the step for a genius to enter, the baptism water for believers, the priceless treasure of a capable person and the bottomless pit for the weak." Let our generation of young people never live up to this great era.
