Low erucic acid rapeseed oil, as the name implies, is low erucic acid content. The national standard of GB/T 1536 Rapeseed Oil shows that rapeseed oil with erucic acid content less than 3% of fatty acid composition is low erucic acid rapeseed oil.
In order to protect public health, China's national standards stipulate that the erucic acid content in low erucic acid rapeseed oil should not exceed 3% of the total fatty acids, and the US FDA stipulates that it should not exceed 2% of the total fatty acids. The World Health Organization and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization require that the erucic acid content in low erucic acid rapeseed oil should be below 2%.

Precautions for low erucic rapeseed oil:
Rapeseed oil with low erucic acid content can be made from rapeseed and some other Brassica rapeseed by mechanical extraction or n-hexane extraction. The obtained essential oil is refined, decolorized and deodorized, and free fatty acids, phospholipids, pigments, odor and odor components, and miscible non-oil substances are fully removed.
Products should be stored in clean containers, and it is strictly prohibited to store them in the open air and in the sun and rain. The temperature of the storage warehouse should not be higher than 40℃, and outdoor large-capacity storage tanks should be cooled, filled and inflated.
