Xianghe County, belonging to Langfang City, Hebei Province, is located in the plains at the southern foot of Yanshan Mountain, in the east of central Hebei Province, northeast of Langfang City. It is adjacent to Baodi District of Tianjin City in the east, separated by Qinglongwan River in the south and Wuqing District of Tianjin City in the south, neighboring Tongzhou District of Beijing Municipality in the west, and bordering Sanhe City and Dafang Hui Autonomous County in the north, with a total area of 448 square kilometers.In 2020, Xianghe County had a household population of 383,600 people*** with 35 ethnic groups. Geography

According to the stratigraphic division of China, Xianghe County belongs to the North China Stratigraphic Region, with the northeastern part of the area east of Ximajiawo to Xiyansi, and the northern part of the area from Houmafang to Jingzhuang belonging to the Tangshan Subdivision of the Yanshan District, and the other parts belonging to the Jizhong Subdivision of the North China Plain District, and the whole county covered by the Quaternary stratigraphy. The geotectonic position of Xianghe County belongs to the North China Plateau Zone, spanning two secondary tectonic units, the Yanshan Plateau Fold Belt to the north of Houmafang to Jingzhuang, and the Huaihe Plateau Tilt to the south.
