At present, the varieties of Camellia oleifera approved by the state and provinces are all high-yield varieties, about 100. The oil yield per mu of the experimental forest is between 30~ 120 kg, and most of them are between 50~70 kg. Common varieties of Camellia oleifera include Xianglin series, Changlin series, Shi Gan series, Ganzhou oil series and Cenxi soft branch series. The adaptability of each variety is slightly different, but most camellia oleifera can be planted in southern Jiangxi, southern Hunan and Fujian.
