The Macau Food Festival is an annual food carnival in Macau. The first Macau Food Festival was held at the end of 2001. The scale of food festivals continues to expand, from mainly local to international participation, from a pure food festival to a food carnival. In recent years, fireworks displays, exhibitions, game booths, song and dance performances have been added, and photography competitions have been held to promote photography activities, making the food festival more diversified. Since 2003, the food festival has been held in conjunction with the Macau Grand Prix, allowing fans and tourists to not only enjoy the racing, but also come to the food carnival to taste delicious food from all over the world.
