The fruit of pitaya, also known as Red Dragon Fruit, Dragon Pearl Fruit, Fairy Honey Fruit, Jade Dragon Fruit, Cactaceae and Ranunculaceae [1], is oval, with a diameter of/kloc-0 ~12cm, red or yellow appearance, leafy green round triangle, white, red or yellow pulp, and inside the fruit. Native to Central America, it is one of the famous tropical and subtropical fruits. Later, it was introduced into Vietnam, Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries and Taiwan Province Province of China, as well as Hainan, Guangxi, Guangdong, Fujian, Yunnan and other provinces in Chinese mainland for introduction and trial planting. Pitaya is rich in nutrition and unique in function. It contains plant albumin and anthocyanins, and is rich in vitamins and water-soluble dietary fiber, which are rare in general plants. Pitaya is cool. In the natural state, the fruit ripens in summer and autumn and tastes sweet and juicy.
