The imperial court explained that Tang He had made contributions to the war, one of which was the defeat at Zhoushan Sea, which killed two generals. However, "Ming Shi" believes that the real reason why Tang He was not allowed to be appointed to the public this time is not here, but for his previous complaint, which made Zhu Yuanzhang feel bitter. At that time, Tang He fought against his arch-rival Zhang Shicheng. "Taste please in MAO, can not, drunk out of complaints. MAO Wen's title. " When it came to sealing the hero, Zhu Yuanzhang gave Tang He a wink.
The title is hereditary
When Tang He was in Ming Taizu, he was given a hereditary patent certificate. However, after the death of Tang He, his son, grandson and great-grandson all died young, so they could not attack the title, so Tang's descendants lost their titles when they arrived in Ming Yingzong. Shi Tang of Shizong in the Ming Dynasty and Tang Shaozong of the Fifth Sun were awarded the posthumous title of Lingbi Hou for their contributions, but they were still awarded letters patent.
Believing in the Lord protector only lasts for one generation; Lingbi Hou * * * lived through five generations and died in Nanming. There are also two other Lingbi Hou Tang Guoxiang and Tang Wenqiong in Ming History, who are said to have "paid sacrifices to Hou" during the Chongzhen period (1628-1644). Because its attack year is unknown, and its deeds are only seen here, it is not included in the lineage for the time being.
