2. Qianjiang City has a humid north subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons: warm spring, hot summer, and cold winter. The climate is suitable and it is known as a water town garden. Lobster began to be introduced to Qianjiang in the 1950s. The effective accumulated temperature throughout the year is 5125°C, and the annual average temperature is 16.1°C, which is suitable for the growth of lobsters. Qianjiang lobster has a fat tail and a strong body, white gills, no odor, and a clean and transparent abdomen. The two front claws are thick and bright in color. The shell is generally light cyan or light red. Sexually mature individuals are reddish brown and have no attachments.
