Mudskipper breeding technology method
1. Pond construction

Around the pond for breeding loach, it needs to be 40 centimeters above the water surface, with a slope of 60℃~70℃, a depth of 80~100 centimeters, and a water depth of 30~50 centimeters. The pond should be surrounded by a fence made of net, plastic board or porcelain board to prevent snakes, rats and other enemies from entering the breeding area. In addition, the inlet and outlet are wrapped with 120-mesh netting to prevent loaches from escaping, enemy organisms, wild fish eggs and fry from entering the pond.

2. Preparation before stocking

Before stocking loaches, it is necessary to clean the pond. After the water depth reaches 10cm, it is necessary to make a mud slurry with quicklime and then sprinkle water to sterilize the whole pond. Apply bottom fertilizer three days before stocking.

3. Sowing.

The time of loach fry on the pond is in May every year, and the planting density is 1,500-2,000/m2. During the process of fry production, attention should be paid to the water test before stocking to check whether the toxicity of the water body is eliminated.

4. Feeding management

The loach fry body length is less than 2cm, according to the water conditions can be appropriate fertilizer. Fertilizer can use fermented pig, cow, chicken, human manure and other farmyard fertilizer, every morning and evening once. When the loach grows to 2cm, deepen the water level to 50cm, fertilize the water quality, and feed it once a day in the morning and once in the evening. The water quality of loach breeding is very important. In addition to changing the water once or twice a week, you also need to fertilize often to keep the water yellow-green.
