Vegetarians are far healthier than meat eaters
As we have seen, meat is not a natural or healthy food for humans. Of course, we can still rely on it to survive, but it causes premature wear and tear on our bodies and produces many diseases. "A gasoline engine will run on kerosene, but it will quickly clog, wear out, and break down more easily than if it were powered by gasoline." Our body is not just a machine, it is a complex and beautiful machine. Creation serves us throughout our lives. Therefore, they must be fed according to nature's structure - natural fruits, cereals, nuts, legumes, vegetables and daily products. There is no doubt that countless studies have proven that vegetarians around the world are far healthier than meat eaters.
During the world economic crisis, people were forced to become vegetarians, and their health improved dramatically. During World War I, food shortages became apparent in Denmark due to the British blockade. The Danish government appointed the president of the National Vegetarian Society to work on food rationing. During the lockdown, Denmark was forced to survive on grains, vegetables, fruits and produce. In the first year of rationing, mortality dropped by seventeen percent. During World War I, Norwegians adopted a vegetarian diet due to food shortages. As a result, the rate of deaths from circulatory diseases immediately dropped. After the war, when Norwegians and Danes resumed eating meat, the mortality and heart disease ratios immediately rose back to pre-war figures.
The Haris, a tribe in India and Pakistan, are world-famous for their freedom from illness and longevity. Curious scientists from all over the world gathered in this village, trying to find out why diseases here are almost eliminated and the life span of residents is as high as 115 years or more. Their diet mainly consists of whole grains, fresh fruits, vegetables and goat's milk. MacGleeson, a British general physician who worked with the Harrises, once wrote: "I have never seen a case of appendicitis, colitis, or cancer here."
Recently, a group of Harvard physicians and research scientists traveled to a remote village of 400 residents in the Ikud Mountains. They were surprised to find that many of the local residents had reached unusually advanced ages. One man was one hundred and twenty-one years old, and several were over a hundred years old. They did a thorough examination of people over the age of seventy-five, and only two of them had heart disease! These villagers are pure vegetarians. Doctors called the findings "extremely unusual" and said: "If the same subjects were examined in the United States, 95 percent of them would have heart disease."
Statistically speaking, most vegetarians in the United States are thinner and healthier. Fifty percent of Americans are overweight, and vegetarians are, on average, twenty pounds lighter than meat eaters. The National Institutes of Health recently studied 50,000 vegetarians and found that they lived longer, had significantly less heart disease, and had much lower rates of cancer than meat-eaters.
Life insurance premiums for vegetarians in the UK are much lower than for carnivores. Because they are less likely to have heart disease, the insurance company takes less risk. Vegetarian restaurants also have lower insurance premiums for food poisoning insurance because customers are less likely to get food poisoning than meat restaurants.
At Harvard University, a doctor confirmed that vegetarians have fewer colds and allergies.
So it has been repeatedly scientifically proven that meat is harmful to the human body. Carefully prepared vegetarian food not only conforms to the laws of nature, but also helps us achieve a healthy and elastic body

Vegetarians may not necessarily live longer
According to surveys, long-term vegetarianism will cause nutrient deficiencies. After examining the bodies of 645 monks in China who have been vegetarians all their lives, they found that 45.6% of the monks suffered from chronic diseases, of which 34.3% were related to long-term malnutrition.
Nutritionists believe that there are two types of protein needed by humans.
One is complete protein, also known as high-quality protein, which contains all amino acids including essential amino acids for the human body. Animal foods such as milk, lean meat, poultry eggs, fish and shrimp are the main sources of this type of protein. The other is incomplete or semi-complete protein, which contains insufficient amounts of amino acids and lacks certain essential amino acids. Plant-based proteins fall into this category. If you eat a vegetarian diet for a long time and the complete protein is not supplemented in time and enough, it will cause reduced plasma protein, weight loss, anemia, edema, decreased immunity, susceptibility to infectious diseases, non-healing of fractures, etc.
