Leopard (Panthera pardus in Latin and Leopard in English), also known as Cape and Leopard. Length 1.5-2.4m, weight 50- 100kg. The field record is 130 kg, and the running speed can reach 70 kilometers per hour. Round head and small ears. The whole body is brown and covered with dark brown spots, hence the name. There is also a blackened individual, whose whole body is dark brown, but there are still round spots under the microscope, which is often called the ink leopard. Leopard is a large carnivore. It is strong, agile, good at jumping and crawling, fierce and cunning, and can even hunt large animals such as deer and sneak up on herbivores. Leopards are very good at climbing trees.
