What is earth honey?
Native honey refers to honey brewed from Shan Ye flowers collected by native bees, which is favored by people because of its rich nutrition and low yield. However, the soil bee does not refer to the bees raised by rural farmers' uncles, but refers to the Chinese bees (Chinese bees, Chinese bees) born and raised in China. In fact, before the introduction of Italian bees, honey in China was basically native honey.

What is earth honey?

1, the so-called earth honey is also called "hundred flowers honey" or "wild honey", which is brewed by Chinese bee (Chinese earth bee). Baihua honey is not honey brewed by bees collecting 100 kinds of nectar, but honey brewed by collecting two or more kinds of nectar is called Baihua honey, which should be exactly multi-nectar, and Baihua honey is just a noun. The honey brewed by Italian bees is mostly single flower honey, such as jujube honey, medlar honey, linden honey, Vitex negundo and so on. It is not that Italian bees only collect one kind of nectar, but that some nectar contains many ingredients. Earth honey is usually amber or deep amber and smells like flowers. Some people say that earth honey has a faint taste of traditional Chinese medicine, tastes sweet and sour, and has a spicy throat. When the temperature reaches 13- 14 degrees, it is easy to crystallize, and the grain is fine, but it melts at the entrance.

2. The brewing cycle of local honey is long, generally one year. Due to the pleasant climate in some parts of the south, honey can be collected 2-3 times a year, while Italian bees can collect honey once every 7- 15 days on average when the flowering period is flourishing. Therefore, the yield of native honey is much lower than that of Italian honey.

There are two kinds of native honey on the market at present. One is the semi-artificial ground bees raised by mountain resources (Qinling Mountains, Daxing 'anling Mountains, Yunnan and other areas with lush vegetation), that is, after beekeepers make beehives, bees freely collect honey brewed from nectar, which is mostly a sideline for farmers and can collect honey in seasons. Then it is to repair or replace the hive, and the rest of the time is basically ignored. The other is pure wild honey, which refers to the honey collected by local villagers when they find honeycombs deep in the mountains in the honey mature season, such as cliff honey, tree hole honey, honey brewed in mounds or soil cracks, etc.
