Brandy grading
It can be divided into three levels: VS, VSOP and XO.

VS represents brandy aged for at least 2 years, VSOP represents brandy aged for more than 4 years, and XO is the highest, at least 10 years.

VS, VSOP and XO are actually three levels of cognac. Details are as follows:

1, VS(VerySpecial), which can also be expressed as (three-star): this grade indicates that the youngest wine in the mixed wine used in cognac has been stored in oak barrels for at least 2 years.

2.VSOP (very superior/very old bottle): This grade indicates that the youngest mixed wine used in cognac has been stored in oak barrels for at least 4 years.

3.XO(ExtraOld): This grade indicates that the youngest mixed wine used in cognac has been stored in oak barrels for at least 6 years. Some excellent XO cognac may be aged in oak barrels for more than 20 years. It should be pointed out that since April of 16 and 10, the storage time of the youngest XO mixed wine in oak barrels has been extended to 10 years.
