How to save the purchased hairy crabs after receiving them?
There are three ways to preserve hairy crabs:

Method 1: put it in the bathtub.

Let the bathtub be used as a temporary pond, gently put the bought fresh crabs into it, inject water just past the crabs, let the crabs stand up and breathe, and put a small amount of small fish and shrimp into the water according to the time required for preservation.

Tip: This preservation method can keep crabs alive for 7 days or longer, and the bathtub wall is smooth, so crabs can't escape. There is another point that needs special attention. If you don't eat the crabs you bought immediately, don't wash them with water, or they will die.

Method 2: put it in a plastic bucket/basin.

If you don't have a bathtub at home, you can put crabs in a tall plastic bucket/basin with smooth inner walls. Be careful not to stack them. Just add water to half the height of the crab. You can't bury all the crabs. Too deep water will make them unable to breathe.

Tip: If the temperature is not too high, crabs can be kept like this for 5 days.

Three: Put it in the refrigerator.

Pickled live crabs can also be put in the refrigerator, but pay attention to the method. First, find a foam box with a suitable size according to the freezer of the refrigerator, then tie the legs and feet of the crab and put them in the foam box one by one, and then add water that has passed the surface of the crab to the box. Finally, cover the foam box and put it in the freezer.
