1. Wash the glutinous rice with clear water and soak it for one night, as shown below.
2. Drain the water in the pot and try it with a wooden bucket whose water level can't exceed the partition.
3. Put the soaked glutinous rice into a wooden bucket and pay attention to the details. First, put a piece of gauze in the barrel. The more air, the better. Then loosen it with chopsticks and put it back in the pot to start steaming rice.
4. After the steam comes up, cover and steam for 30 minutes. Pay attention to the water in the pot.
5. When the glutinous rice is half cooked, pour some hot water and steam for 20 minutes.
6. Steam for 20 minutes and it will be cooked, so that steaming glutinous rice in wooden barrels is completed.
