1. Two grass carp were washed and controlled after removing gills, scales and internal organs. If I marinate at home, I will remove the fish head and stew it. Sister-in-law sells salted fish instead of fish heads. I cut the back of the fish from the tail with a sharp knife, as shown in the figure.
2. Put a layer of salt on the inside and outside of the fish and put it in a big basin. Turn the fish up and down every day. After about four days, it can be dried.
3. Find a piece of cloth or wire and put it on the top of the fish. Spread the belly of the fish with a bamboo stick and dry it in the sun. If it is cloudy, put it in a ventilated place to dry.
In about 4 or 5 days, salted fish can be dried to 80%. Is the method very simple?
How to eat our local salted fish;
