1, dry bird's nest: dry and save it at room temperature
Dry bird's nest can be put into the preservation or freezer compartment of the refrigerator with a preservation box or a sealed preservation bag after purchase. Or, after drying thoroughly (but not in direct sunlight), put it in a ventilated, cool and moisture-free place. If the bird's nest is found to be slightly moldy due to improper handling, use toothbrush with a little water to wipe it clean and air-dry it (remember not to sunbathe it as it will seriously affect the quality). Note: If you find that the bird's nest has high humidity, it is recommended to air-dry the bird's nest first even if you plan to store it in the refrigerator.
2. Wet Bird's Nest: Refrigerator Storage
The temperature of the refrigerator is 0-8 degrees Celsius, which is suitable for the preservation of bird's nests, while the temperature of the freezer is too low, and wet bird's nests placed in the freezer will accelerate the loss of nutrients in bird's nests. Therefore, it is generally recommended to keep the bird's nest in the refrigerated layer.
Wet bird's nests can be stored in a clean container, sealed, protected from water and oil, and can be placed in the fresh or refrigerated area for 7-15 days. The best thing to do is to use as much as you can, and don't send it too much at one time.
