The central axis of Confucian culture in Nanjing Confucius Temple is located in Qinhuai District, the old city of Nanjing. It is the most dazzling pearl in Qinhuai scenic belt, a national 5A-level tourist attraction.

Nanjing's diet is famous for Jinling cuisine, which refers to the cuisine centered in Nanjing and extended to Jiujiang, Jiangxi. It is one of the four representative dishes of Su cuisine.
