Carp is a freshwater pelagic fish, which is omnivorous. The optimum water temperature is between 20 and 32℃, and the optimum water temperature for cultivation is between 22 and 28℃. The optimum pH value for growth is 7.5 ~ 8.5. Carp is an omnivorous fish, and its larvae mainly feed on rotifers, crustaceans and small invertebrates.
