[Nature] Sweet, bitter and warm in nature. It can tonify kidney, strengthen yang, dispel cold and dampness, regulate menstruation and stop bleeding.
[Usage] Used for impotence due to kidney deficiency and soreness of waist and knees; Deficiency cold, metrorrhagia, irregular menstruation and excessive leucorrhea; Cold-dampness arthralgia.
[Usage] 3~ 10g a day. Boil soup, soak wine and serve on a plate.

1, Saussurea involucrata wine: Saussurea involucrata 30g, Cordyceps sinensis 10. Soak in 500 grams of white wine. Drink 1~2 small cups each time.
Derived from "Handbook of Chinese Herbal Medicine Treatment in Plateau". This prescription uses both of them to tonify kidney and strengthen yang. Used for impotence due to kidney deficiency and soreness of waist and knees.
2. Saussurea involucrata stewed chicken: Saussurea involucrata and Astragalus membranaceus each 15g, chicken 1 chicken. Remove hair and intestinal impurities from chicken, wash, cut into pieces, wrap with gauze, boil with chicken, and season with ginger and salt. When the chicken is cooked, go to the gauze bag to drink soup and eat meat.
In this prescription, Saussurea involucrata warms kidney to help yang, dispel cold and dampness, and Astragalus membranaceus strengthens spleen and benefits qi. Used for deficiency of both spleen and kidney, excessive leucorrhea, or edema and dysuria.
3. Xuelian Guizhi wine: Xuelian, Guizhi each 15g, Coix seed 30g. Soak in 500 grams of white wine. Drink 1~2 cups each time.
This recipe uses Saussurea involucrata to dispel cold and dampness, Guizhi to warm the meridians, and Coicis Semen to promote diuresis and relax tendons. Used for arthralgia due to cold and dampness, and joint flexion and extension is unfavorable.
