1. Shoumei belongs to the white tea category. Shoumei is white tea made from Fuding Dabai and Fuding white tea trees. The leaves of Shoumei are slightly plump and tender, with buds and leaves connected to branches without old stems. The leaves are curled like eyebrows and have a pure aroma. Among them, the Maocha made from tea buds and leaves is called "Xiaobai" to distinguish it from the "Dabai" Maocha made from Fuding Dabai Tea and Zhenghe Dabai Tea tea tree buds and leaves.

2. The tea buds of vegetable tea were once used to make silver needles. Later, Dabai was used to make silver needles and white peony, while Xiaobai was used to make Gongmei. Shoumei is mainly produced in Guanyang Town, Panxi Town, and Nodou Town of Fuding City in Ningde City, Fujian Province, and in Zhenghe County, Jianyang City, and Songxi County of Nanping City. Its output accounts for more than half of the total white tea output.
