Tianjin Ancient Culture Street Introduction Tianjin Ancient Culture Street is located outside the east gate of the northeast corner of Nankai District and on the west bank of Haihe River. As one of the ten scenic spots in Jinmen, Tianjin Ancient Culture Street has always adhered to the business characteristics of "Chinese flavor, Tianjin flavor, cultural flavor and ancient flavor" and mainly deals in stationery. There are nearly 100 shops in the ancient culture street, which is the concentrated place of folk handicraft shops in Tianjin time-honored shops, among which authentic food includes Goubuli steamed stuffed bun, ear-pierced fried cake, pancake fruit and so on; Tourist attractions include Tianhou Palace, Himalayas, Qing postal coins, clay figurine Zhang Caisu and so on.
Recommended scenic spots are Nanbei archway.
After renovation, the ancient cultural street still maintains the architectural style and basic line shape of the year, and its architectural style is small-scale architecture imitating the Ming and Qing Dynasties, with the first and second floors; The block is natural and straight, strewn at random with rhyme; The cornice buildings are of moderate scale, and the shop pavements are long and orderly, showing the effect of ancient streets. The ancient cultural street is full of rich ancient flavor, cultural flavor, Chinese flavor and Tianjin flavor. There are two archways at the south and north entrances of Guwen Street, and the form of painting is "cutting ink stone to drive out jade". The words on the heart of the south archway square are "hometown of Jinmen" (facing south) and "sunny snow" (facing north); The words on the heart of the north archway square are "Gushang Art Garden" (facing north) and "Jin Ao" (facing south).
tianhou temple
Tianhou Palace is the center of the ancient cultural street. It has long been said in Tianjin that "Tianhou Palace comes first, then Tianjinwei". Lin Mo, the "Tianhou Niangniang", is enshrined in the Tianhou Palace. There are two large sail poles erected for more than 600 years in its square. On the east side of the square, there is a theater near the Haihe River, and Tianhou Palace Square has formed a relatively independent space.
It is said that in the few years since it was built in Tianhou Palace, this sail pole was built outside the Tianhou Palace in order to protect the people who went to sea forever. On the day of the annual emperor's meeting and Tianhou's birthday, 24 red lanterns were hung on each of these two tall sails to pray for the people who went to sea to return safely. It is said that at night, the people who returned will be far away just after entering Dagukou.
There are mainly 14 rooms in the Tianhou Palace, which are: Qiandian, Main Hall, Yaowang Hall, Taiwan Province Hall, Fengwei Hall, Tibetan Scripture Pavilion, Guandi Hall, Yuanchen Hall, Qisheng Temple, Caishen Temple, Bixia Yuanjun Hall, Wangsan Grandma Hall and Liangyuan Pavilion.
Tianyan Square (Yanfu Former Residence)
Dashizi Hutong, an ancient cultural street, is the former residence of Yan Fu, and the original house no longer exists. In order to explore the history and culture, I visited Mr. Yan Fu's descendants and historical experts successively, and combined with landscape design, built Tianyan Square in the original site of Yan Fu's former residence, and set up a bronze statue of Yan Fu and a stone carving on natural evolution.
