It’s probably tinea manuum
Tinea manuum refers to a fungal skin disease that occurs on the palms of the fingers. Tinea manuum is called “goose palm wind” in Chinese medicine.
The cause of the disease is the invasion of the toes by Trichophyton epidermidis, Trichophyton or Trichophyton toe. Trichophyton rubrum has strong resistance and is difficult to control, and it interacts with Wei Qi and body fluids. It gathers together but does not disperse, resulting in dry and moist skin.
The clinical characteristics of tinea manuum are that the initial lesions are located on one side, and small blisters occur on the curved surface of the fingertips. After drying and desquamation, they gradually extend to the palms or adjacent to the fingers. The skin at the desquamation area becomes thicker and thicker. The lines are wide and deep, losing normal luster and softness, with clear boundaries, and the blisters merge with each other. After rupture, the blisters wall is not easy to fall off to form collar-like annular scales. When the climate is dry in winter, cracks and pain may occur in the fingertips and joint movable parts. After being stimulated by chemical substances, tinea manuum can turn into eczema.
