2. Choose land. Choose plots with loose and fertile soil, flat terrain and good drainage as planting areas, or choose plots where food crops have been planted before, such as wheat and corn, but avoid plots where onions, ginger and garlic have been planted. Combined with soil preparation, organic fertilizer has the best effect on applying base fertilizer to plots.
Step 3 plant. Turn over the land to kind of garlic, then put some rotten leaves under the soil, and then try to level the soil as much as possible. Insert the treated garlic cloves into the soil, then cover the soil and step on it. After sowing, water the soil to keep moisture, and cover it with a plastic film to keep warm.
4. Maintenance. During the growing period, it is enough to water once every four or five days, and there is no need to fertilize during this period, as long as the soil is wet. If it is a high temperature period, you can build a shed with a height of 1 m and cover it with a sunshade net or straw to prevent the seedlings from dying in the sun. After all the garlic seedlings are planted, move and fix the seedlings with bamboo pieces. After fertilization, loosen the soil and weed in time. Loosen the soil once before and after the severe cold, and dredge the drainage ditch in time in late February of the following spring. In case of drought, furrow irrigation should be carried out in time to combat drought.
