Character identification: The leaves are mostly lanceolate and sometimes halberd-shaped. They have long handles and come in different sizes. The smallest ones are 5 to 10 centimeters long, and the largest ones are 30 to 60 centimeters long. The surface of the leaves is yellow-green, with many longitudinal brown-black stripes on the old leaves. The back is densely covered with star-like soft hairs like felt, which are gray-white or camel when young. When old, they are covered with sporangia, which are brown, and the leaves are leathery, hard and brittle, with no air and a slightly bitter taste.

The leaves are preferably large, thick, light green on the surface and brown on the back.
