The pot does not need to be deep, but it must be wide. The roots of dragon fruit are aerial roots, and many roots grow to the soil surface and branches.

Do not plant from seeds. It will take at least 4-5 years for seeds to bear fruit. It is best to plant them on slender branches. With good management, fertilizer and sufficient sunlight, they will bear fruit in about 2 years.
