How to culture shrimp in fresh water

1. Pond conditions

To cultivate shrimp, the farm should be established in a location with open terrain and convenient drainage. It is about 2-3 acres, and the water depth is about 2 meters. Leave 50 centimeters of water before putting the shrimp seedlings in. Use 110 kilograms of quicklime and 32 kilograms of tea meal per acre to clean the pond.

2. Shrimp larvae stocking

Shrimp larvae must be desalinated before being released. After the shrimp larvae grow to 2 cm, they are released into the breeding pond. The stocking time can be selected. In the evening or on a sunny day, and the day before stocking, the aerator needs to be turned on to increase oxygen, and the water temperature should be kept above 20°C.

3. Feeding frequency

When feeding shrimps, we must abide by the principles of regular quantity, fixed point and quality, small quantity and multiple feeding, and specific adjustments, and set 3-4 in the breeding pond. On the food table, feed 4 times a day for half a month after the seedlings are released, and then continue to increase the amount of feeding to promote the growth of the shrimp.

4. Water quality management

Although the shrimp seedlings are desalinated shrimp seedlings, they still have seawater habits. Therefore, 50ppm raw salt should be added to the pond before releasing the seedlings. During this period, the water level was maintained at 50 cm, and then increased by 5 cm every day until the water depth reached about 160 cm, and 20% of the water was changed every 4-5 days.
