Sketch of ripe wheat

Step 1: Draw the three oval wheat kernels at the top of the ear, and add the thin, pointed awns on the kernels.

Step 2: Draw five more layers of wheat kernels in the same manner, each with three kernels attached, and add the awns on top.

Step 3: At the bottom of the sheaf, draw down the pole and the long, thin leaves on either side of the pole.

Step 4: Evenly color each kernel of wheat with a gold colored pencil and trace the edges of the thin, sharp awns with a gold colored pencil.

Step 5: Paint the stalks and leaves with tan color.
