When passion fruit seedlings reach the top, it is usually on sunny days. It's rainy and humid, and it's easy to get infected if it's not managed properly after topping.
Second, how high is the toppings?
Under normal circumstances, potted passion fruit can be peeled when it grows to 1m, or it can be made higher, but generally it will not exceed 2m. The purpose of topping is for the growth of lateral buds. Leave 2~3 lateral branches on each side. Then, when the lateral branches grow to the height of 1.5m-2cm, topping the lateral branches will grow better. Pruning other branches properly when topping, and cutting off branches that are not growing well and cross-growing, are also helpful for their later results. Pay attention to clean tools for cutting head and trimming, and don't use a knife with bacteria.
Third, matters needing attention
When watering after topping, don't pour the water in the topping position, but try to pour it into the soil. Topping can help plants grow more lateral branches, make plants look fuller and help them bloom.
