Many such small restaurants have been opened in private houses on both sides of Xiangyang Road, euphemistically called private restaurants. Famous ones include Lao Niu Wo Li, Taomi Shui, Alley Kou, etc. This iron tower is similar to the above. Not to mention the environment, it is just a small farm-style restaurant that mainly serves Wuxi home-cooked dishes. The food tastes good and the price is not expensive. If you want to get together with friends and your requirements are not high, you can consider it. My family wanted to go to Lao Niu Den for dinner, but we booked a little late and there were no tables available. A friend recommended that the Eiffel Tower Hotel opposite had a similar taste, so I decided to give it a try. The location is actually quite easy to find, just across the road from Lao Niu Wo, where you can see an iron tower and many small restaurants converted from private houses below. The Eiffel Tower Hotel is right under the Eiffel Tower, and it lives up to its name. The cold dishes are all in the window, and you can choose from them. I ordered six in one day, and they were all home-cooked dishes. The tripe doesn't feel too bad. Personally, I prefer boiled and more flavorful ones. This one is chewier. The pickled edamame beans taste pretty good, with a slight sweetness. The chicken feet are not very bad or tasty. Maybe I am used to eating tiger skin chicken feet and the kind found in Hong Kong-style tea restaurants, so I am not used to the taste of this kind of braised chicken feet. Black fungus soaked in vinegar, this dish tastes the same everywhere. Sauerkraut fish fillet, this is considered one of the signature dishes. It tastes really good, but the fish fillet is a little thick. The taste of sauerkraut is indescribable, and they are all stems with few leaves, so you can eat sauerkraut directly. The potato flour inside is also very chewy. Mixed kidney flowers, this is a dish that Wuxi people like to eat. To mix the kidney flowers in this way, it must be processed first without any peculiar smell, so the requirements are quite high. The seasoning is very good, because later everyone even used the coriander in it. Eat along with it. The fried eel paste is a local dish in Wuxi. There is a little less shredded eel and too much head. The oily and heavy-flavored food is not too unpalatable. I don't eat pork trotters, but I ordered them for those who love meat. I heard they taste good. Shepherd's purse rice cake, I didn't expect it to be such a small rice cake head. The toughness is pretty good, but it's too monotonous. Wouldn't it be better to add some shredded pork or something? The stir-fried loofah has a little more oil, but the taste is okay and refreshing. Chicken soup and duck blood, there are a lot of things in it, including duck gizzards and duck intestines, and it tastes very delicious. The local chicken stew is also a recommended dish. I originally thought it was the kind of old hen soup, but I didn't expect it to be like this. The braised chicken nuggets taste quite fragrant, but my mother said that the chicken should not be local chicken. The last dish of fat beef in sour soup was a failure because it tasted almost like pickled fish. Overall, it is a relatively affordable store, but the environment is really bad. It is recommended that you try it if you have a small gathering, even if you are a more formal guest.
