Yangzhou now has three districts, Ganjiang, Guangling and Jiangdu.

1, Ganjiang District: Ganjiang District, is a district under Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is located in the center of Jiangsu Province, the belly of Yangtze River Delta, the intersection of Yangtze River and Huaihe River, east of Shanghai, west of Nanjing, south of Yangtze River, north of Huaihe River, and center of Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, and it is an important part of Yangzhou, which is a famous national historical and cultural city. Ganjiang was named after King Fuzha of Wu in the Spring and Autumn, who built Gan City and opened Gan Ditch, with a history of more than 2,490 years.In 2001, Ganjiang was abolished as a county and established as a district under the city of Yangzhou, with 10 towns and 8 street offices under the jurisdiction of Ganjiang, covering a total area of 536 square kilometers, with a total population of 687,700 (as of the end of 2013).

2, Guangling District: Guangling District, is the main city under the jurisdiction of Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, is located in central Jiangsu Province, the Yangtze River and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, and is located in the Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle. As of 2022, the district covers an area of 265.36 square kilometers, with a resident population of 542,300, under the jurisdiction of five streets, four townships and six parks, 61 communities and 62 villages, and in 2021, the district realized a gross regional product of 76.584 billion yuan. Guangling District is a subtropical temperate climate. 2021 March, was selected as "2021 China's top 100 counties and cities of specialties" list, ranked No. 2.

3, Jiangdu District: Jiangdu District is Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, under the jurisdiction of the central Jiangsu Province, bordering the Yangtze River in the south, west of Yangzhou City, Guangling District, Ganjiang District, east of Taizhou City border, north of Gaoyou City adjacent. As early as 5,000 to 6,000 years ago, in the late Neolithic period, there were human beings engaged in various agricultural production activities in Jiangdu District. During the Spring and Autumn Period, it belonged to the state of Wu. At the time of Qin and Chu, Xiang Yu wanted to build a capital in Guangling near the river, which was called Jiangdu. Jiangdu District has been rated as one of the top 100 counties (cities) in China in terms of basic competitiveness of county economy for ten consecutive years, and its sustainable development ability is listed in the 9th place of county-level cities in the province, and it has been identified as one of the first 10 innovative pilot cities in the province. 2012 Research Report on Scientific Development Evaluation Indicator System of Small and Medium-sized Cities in China, which is the first report on the list of "2012 China's Top 100 Municipal Jurisdictions in Comprehensive Strength" (National Top 100 Districts), Jiangdu District has successfully entered into the list and ranked the 48th. Jiangdu District was ranked 48th in the list.
