How to raise potted roses?
1. You should plant roses in potted plants at home, and pay attention to:

(1) Time of basin loading. It should be done after defoliation in early winter or before germination in early spring.

② Fertilize and water. Roses like fertilizer. After potted plants are served on the table, apply 1 decomposed organic liquid fertilizer once every 10 days, and also apply some liquid fertilizers containing phosphorus and potassium in the germination stage. Water should be done according to the weather conditions, and water should be done every day in hot summer. Usually, the soil in the basin will be watered when it is dry, and the residual flowers should be removed in time after flowering.

③ pruning. Because the dormancy period needs pruning, it can promote the vigorous growth of plants and prolong the flowering period.

④ Pest control. See related contents of common diseases of roses.

To make roses colorful and leafy, we should pay attention to:

① Selection of planting sites. It should be planted in a well-drained and sunny place, not in a low-lying place to avoid water accumulation. The soil should be loose and fertile. ② Fertilize and water. Before planting, decomposed organic fertilizer should be applied as base fertilizer. Plants before germination. During the growth period, it is necessary to topdressing organic liquid fertilizer with nitrogen as the main fertilizer 1~2 times, and topdressing liquid fertilizer with phosphorus and potassium as the main fertilizer 1 time before flowering. After defoliation, ditch around the plant, apply rotten leaf fertilizer, irrigate and seal the soil. In the early spring bud germination period and dry season, pay attention to watering in summer, don't make the soil too dry, and water it according to the wet and dry conditions of the soil at ordinary times.

③ ramets. Because of the strong branching ability of roses, attention should be paid to branching. Generally, every two years 1 time, each tree can maintain 5~6 branches.

4 pruning. It is necessary to prune plants during dormancy, which can promote the vigorous growth of plants.

⑤ Pest control. See related contents of common diseases of roses.

Roses like a cool, sunny environment, and they need at least 6 hours of sunshine every day to produce good quality flowers. Its growth temperature is 15-25℃, which is too high for the growth of roses. Besides, good ventilation is also important. The hot, humid and poorly ventilated environment is easy to make rose plants suffer from various diseases, such as black spot and powdery mildew. At present, there are generally two kinds of cultivation places: gardens and balconies. Gardens are generally planted in sunny places, with at least 2-5 hours of sunshine throughout the morning; Choose a place with good drainage and ventilation; Mix thoroughly with humus or compost before transplanting. Balcony generally takes effective drying measures; Lay curtains, don't put the flowerpot directly on the concrete; In order to prevent the drainage ditch from blocking or leaking, we should also consider living nearby; Leave it in a sunny place for 2-5 hours in the morning.

Soil: The soil suitable for the growth of roses must have three main points: looseness, good ventilation and good drainage. Potted soil can be made of sandy loam, snake sawdust and vermiculite, while roses cultivated in the open field must be planted where there is no water, and the soil should be turned loose before planting. For garden planting, in order to improve the state of garden soil during transplanting, some transplanted places are dug to remove bad soil, and ruby, humus soil, dried cow dung and other substances with granular structure are mixed in the dug places. In places where roses have been planted before, transplanting new roses may worsen the growth and development of roses. In this case, new soil should be replaced. The flowerpot should be planted with red soil mixed with humus and dried cow dung. The proportion of mixed soil is as follows: red loam 60%, humus 20% and dry cow dung 20%. It is easy to use commercially available rose culture soil. You can also use it directly. In order to further improve courage and drainage, if water conservation is mixed with 20-30% ruby soil, the soil can be used to achieve the best state.

Rose is a sunny, cold-resistant and drought-tolerant plant. If planted in a wet place, it will grow weakly and bloom less. So roses must be planted in sunny, ventilated, humid and well-drained places. When planting, apply sufficient decomposed organic fertilizer, and after planting, pour enough water. In the future maintenance, 1 time should be applied in early spring, 1 time before and during flowering, and 1 time before winter. If the weather is dry in early spring, it should be fully watered to promote flower bud differentiation; Cultivate the soil when flowering to prolong the flowering time; Prune properly after autumn to promote the germination of new branches. In this way, plants can produce more, bigger and more fragrant flowers in the second year.

Roses are afraid of flooding. If potted roses are watered too much or planted in low-lying water, the lower leaves will turn yellow and fall off, and even lead to death. Preventive and control measures:

(1) Choose a substrate with good drainage and plant it in Gao Shuang. In case of rainy season, it should be drained in time to prevent waterlogging.

2 potted roses should not be watered too many times a day, followed by watering every day; When it is too hot in summer, water it every morning and evening 1 time; Control water in winter.

(3) If the lower leaves of the rose have turned yellow, stop watering immediately. Potted roses should loosen the soil or medium around the plants and let the water evaporate as soon as possible. If the roses planted on the ground encounter continuous rainy days, dig drainage ditches around the plants to eliminate stagnant water in time.
