The mycelium of Pleurotus nebrodensis can grow in the range of 5 ~ 32℃, and the optimum temperature is 25℃. The growth temperature of fruiting body is 8 ~ 20℃, and the optimum temperature is 14 ~ 16℃. In this range, the lower the temperature, the less the number of fruiting bodies, the bigger the head, the tighter the pulp, the better the appearance and the better the product quality. In production, we should try our best to create conditions and control its growth temperature at the lower limit level, so as to produce high-quality fruiting bodies and obtain higher benefits.
