I. Soil
To use loose and breathable soil, the culture soil can be mixed with humus soil, peat soil, perlite and organic fertilizer, and it is best to turn the pot once in autumn.
Second, water
Water it properly, and it will grow vigorously in spring and autumn. At this time, it is necessary to keep enough water, and the basin soil should be in a wet state, but no water should be generated. Reduce the amount of watering when the temperature is low; If there are many rainy seasons, drainage measures should be taken to avoid water accumulation and root rot, and it should be placed in a dry and ventilated place; In winter, the indoor temperature is much lower, so it is necessary to water less.
Third, the temperature
The suitable temperature for the growth of geranium is 15-25℃, and the indoor temperature should be controlled around 10℃ in winter, not lower than 3℃. After this temperature, it will be very chilling, and some varieties can accept the low temperature of 0℃. The maximum temperature should not exceed 35℃, once it is in a high temperature environment, it will enter a semi-dormant state. Keep it in a ventilated environment as much as possible, and avoid sultry breeding environment.
Fourth, the light
Geranium needs to receive sufficient sunlight, but shading measures should be taken when the sunshine is too strong in summer, and it can be received in other seasons. If the sunlight is insufficient, it will not bloom. When flowering, it is necessary to avoid direct sunlight. You can move it indoors and put it back in a sunny place after the flowers fade. Turn the basin as far as possible to make the leaves receive light more evenly.
