What is Aminosugar?
Aminoglucose (full name glucosamine), commonly known as aminosugar, is an aminocaproic sugar extracted from natural chitin, with the molecular formula C6H13O5N and molecular weight of 179, which is readily soluble in water and is a hydrophilic solvent.

It is involved in the construction of human tissues and cell membranes, and is an intermediate in the synthesis of proteoglycan macromolecules, synthesizing mucopolysaccharides, glycoproteins, and proteoglycans, and especially synthesizing those of articular cartilage as well as synovial fluid molecules.
