Soil bream, also known as white bream, snow bream and flower bream, is mainly distributed in southern Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian and other places, and is also cultivated in other areas in the south. Soil carp is a common small and medium-sized freshwater fish in reservoirs and rivers. Its meat is tender and delicious, and it is very popular among consumers in Guangdong and Guangxi. ?
First, the choice of fishing point?
If you want to catch mud carp well, you must know its living habits. The mud carp is a benthic fish, and its living habits are somewhat similar to those of crucian carp. Soil shad has a wide range of activities but little courage, and generally likes to forage in places with sand and stones at the bottom of the water and good water quality. Soil shad love quiet but have the habit of gathering together, and often swim together in groups to play and feed. Sometimes, when you catch a soil shad in the nest, you will find a fish on the pole. This is because soil shad likes to gather. When fishing for mud bream in the reservoir, the fishing position should be selected in a quiet place in the reservoir at ordinary times, and the bottom of the water is flat and there are not many weeds and sundries. The joint between the large water surface and the small water surface of the reservoir, the depression with slow water flow at the inlet and outlet, the bend area facing the sun and leeward, or the vicinity of fish rafts can all be used as fishing spots. Generally, the water depth is 1.5-2.5 meters. If the water is too shallow, the mud carp will not dare to pull over. If the water is too deep, it will go beyond the range of the mud carp, and the fishing effect will be much worse. ?
Second, the line group collocation?
1, rod: 3.6m or 4.5m hard-tuned or ultra-hard-tuned carbon hand rod should be selected for reservoir fishing. After the middle hook, the soil shad is quite strong, and it often takes several rounds to get fish protection. A 500-gram grass carp is as strong as a grass carp 1500. As mentioned above, mud carp has the habit of clustering. As long as you catch a mud carp in the nest, you should be prepared to pull it wildly. Using a hard pole is beneficial to walking the fish quickly without scaring the fish in the nest and missing the peak of fishing.
2. Line group: Friends who have fished for mud bream know that the strength of mud bream is great, and even a small mud bream can pull the line "whirring", giving people an irresistible style, which often leads to many people's misunderstanding that when fishing for mud bream, the small line cannot resist the momentum of mud bream, so the fishing line should be used. In fact, this kind of thinking is wrong, as long as you use the small hook thread reasonably, it is completely possible. Generally, when fishing about 500 g-1500 g, the main line should be 1.2-2, the sub-line should be 0.6- 1.0, and the hook should be 0.8- 1. This line, Then why are the main line, sub-line and hook used so small when fishing for mud bream? The reason is that the mud carp is slow and light when eating, and the movement is not too big. If the line group is too big, it will affect the transmission of effective signals and miss the best opportunity to lift the pole. ?
3. Use drift: The mud carp is very delicate when eating, and the drift image is often not obvious, and there will be no black drift as often as fishing other fish species. The whole feeding process will pass without paying attention, which is why the mud carp is difficult to fish. No matter in reservoirs, ponds or rivers, we must master the language reflected by the floating of the mud carp when it is eating. Under normal circumstances, the action reflected by the float of the mud carp when biting the hook is often slow and continuous. At first, there will be a slow half-eye or one-purpose float, and sometimes there will be a pause when sending the float, and then there will be a slightly powerful meal. The whole feeding process is slow and powerless, but as long as you catch the next meal, you will get the fish. (Because the local mud carp has different mouths to eat, the floating image is different, so you need to master and understand it yourself.). The bottom fishing method is generally used to catch mud carp, and the slender body bleaching with high sensitivity is generally suitable for use. When adjusting the bleaching, it is usually possible to adjust the bleaching according to the basic methods of adjusting four fishing and two fishing and adjusting five fishing and three fishing. However, generally experienced fishermen will adjust the float very sensitively, and sometimes catch one eye or half an eye. This is because the movement of the mud carp when eating is too small, and the low adjustment of the number of eyes clearly reflects the movement of "black drift" when the mud carp is eating, which is conducive to the fishermen's timely response and judgment. As a leisure fisherman, you don't have to adjust the drift according to the theory, and you don't have to be as strict as a competitive fisherman. As long as you know the float you use, no matter how many times you adjust your fishing, you can adjust your spirit or dull it, and you can catch the signal you see. ?
The collocation of line groups is the most important part in fishing. As for the above points, fishermen need to use it flexibly and reasonably in combination with the situation of water areas. Not everything will remain the same forever, but copying it completely will sometimes bring you unnecessary troubles and misunderstandings. ?
Three: bait use?
Soil mud carp is a middle-lower omnivorous fish with a wide diet. It can be said that it eats everything it can, and its feeding habits are similar to those of crucian carp. The bait for catching mud carp can be made by ourselves or you can buy special bait for fishing mud carp in fishing gear shops. Everyone knows that no matter where you fish, it's very important to bait the fish first. The same is true when fishing for mud bream. It is necessary to bait the fish at the bottom of the nest before fishing with the hook. In Guangdong and Guangxi, most fishing friends, including me, usually use dried peanuts or chicken feed as bottom nest to lure fish, and the effect is very good. Whether it is self-made bait or commercial bait, its state must require good atomization effect and strong hook attachment, and both rubbing bait and pulling bait can be used to fish mud carp. If the individuals in this water area are small, the effect of pulling bait is far better than that of rubbing bait, because the state of pulling bait and atomization effect are more in line with the smoking characteristics of the mud carp. The following are three commonly used formulas when I fished mud bream in reservoirs in Guangdong. After many attempts, they all have good results. Now I will share them with you:
1. Speed Skill 2#30%+ South-North shad 40%+ Overlure 30% <; Wind of water >
2. 40% of the September 18th Battle+50% of peanut withered+wire drawing powder 10%?
3. Speed Skill 2#20%+ Southern Hemiplegia 30%+ Overlure 20% <; Wind of water > +red-tailed green 30%?
The above is a brief summary of my experience in fishing mud carp with a hand pole, hoping to bring help to the vast number of fishing friends. In a word, it is a very enjoyable thing to fish for mud carp with a hand pole, which is far more fun than fishing for other fish species. Fishing with a pole is not as difficult as people say. As long as you master the habits and characteristics of the mud carp, the right medicine will definitely give you a good harvest.
