1, ramet propagation method:
Generally, spring and summer are suitable for rameting. Generally, the roots of barracuda will sprout buds, and it is only necessary to dig these buds out of the ground together with the stems and roots.
After digging out, clean up the soil, cut off the old or dead roots at the same time, and then cut off the roots with a sterilized knife, with 3-4 buds on each root.
Don't plant the cut rhizome immediately. You can apply some plant ash to the incision first, and then plant it in a potted plant.
2, sowing propagation method:
Spring is usually suitable for sowing the seeds of barracuda, and the temperature is favorable for seed germination. First of all, you should choose healthy and full barracuda seeds, and don't use seeds affected by pests and diseases, which will reduce the germination rate of the seeds.
If it is a home broadcast, you need to prepare a pot of soil. Soil can be mixed with humus and sand, and flowerpots can be the same as paper boxes or professional seedling trays. The sowing of barracuda is relatively simple, and the soil is put in a flowerpot.
Then sow the seeds on the soil and water them to keep them moist. After sowing, the ambient temperature should be kept at 25℃, which is beneficial to seed germination. Generally, the seeds will germinate and take root about 10 day after sowing.
