Most snails live in slow-flowing lakes, streams, ponds, swamps, rice fields and small gullies, and love to hide in an environment with soft and moist soil, rich bait, warm in winter and cool in summer.
In the dry season, it completely retracts the soft part into the shell to reduce water evaporation; In the cold winter, it will crawl into the soil to hibernate. When the temperature rises to be suitable for it to move in warm spring, its head and feet will crawl out of the shell.
Its optimum growth temperature is 20~26 degrees, when it eats most vigorously and grows fastest. When the water temperature rises to 30 degrees, I won't eat it. Not resistant to high temperature, but very cold-resistant, and will dig holes for winter in cold season.
