There are Pipi shrimps in front of Lingshan Bay in Qingdao.
Pipi shrimps are called "goby shrimps" or "pipa shrimps" by younger Qingdao people and are usually obtained through fishing.
Pippi shrimps are all marine. Predator shrimps originated in the Jurassic Period of the Mesozoic Era. Most species live in tropical and subtropical seas, and a few are found in temperate seas. They are found all along the coast of China. Among them, Oratosquillaoratoria, a broad-temperature species of the family Squillidae and the genus Oratosquilla, is the most widely distributed and has the largest production volume.
Mantis shrimps often live in burrows, often digging burrows on the sandy or muddy bottom of shallow seas. The burrows are mostly "U" shaped. Stomatopods are carnivorous and mostly prey on small invertebrates. Such animals can make sounds by rubbing the ventral surface of the telson with their tail limbs or striking with their sweeping limbs.
